Παναγιώτης Κονέ: «Τιμώ την Ελλάδα, δεν ξεχνώ τις ρίζες μου»

Ο Παναγιώτης Κονέ βρέθηκε τις τελευταίες μέρες στο στόχαστρο όχι μόνο για τις κακές εμφανίσεις της Εθνικής, αλλά και για μια φωτογραφία του που ήρθε στην επιφάνεια και τον παρουσιάζει να σχηματίζει με τα χέρια του τον αλβανικό αετό.

Αναλυτικά η δήλωση του διεθνούς μεσοεπιθετικού:

«Πληροφορήθηκα από την Κυριακή ότι μία φωτογραφία μου αναπαράγεται σε διαδικτυακά Μέσα και συνοδεύεται από αυθαίρετα σχόλια και συμπεράσματα. Δεν επέτρεψα στον εαυτό μου να με απασχολήσει το γεγονός, διότι ήμουν αφοσιωμένος στις υποχρεώσεις μου με την Εθνική Ομάδα. Έχοντας ολοκληρώσει αυτές τις υποχρεώσεις, θα ήθελα να διευκρινίσω ότι:

Η συγκεκριμένη φωτογραφία είχε τραβηχτεί πριν από χρόνια και είχε αναρτηθεί από τότε σε Μέσα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης. Δεν επελέγη τυχαία, λοιπόν, να αναπαραχθεί σε αυτό το χρονικό διάστημα. Ποτέ δεν έκρυψα ότι είμαι αλβανικής καταγωγής. Αυτό θα ήταν ασέβεια προς την πατρίδα των γονιών μου και πολλών συγγενών μου. Είμαι και Έλληνας πολίτης. Στην Ελλάδα μεγάλωσα, εκπαιδεύτηκα, έμαθα ποδόσφαιρο. Στη χώρα που υποδέχτηκε την οικογένειά μου και την οποία τιμώ όπως μπορώ. Αγωνίζομαι για πάνω από μία δεκαετία στις Εθνικές Ομάδες της Ελλάδας, από την Παίδων μέχρι την Ανδρών, και θα συνεχίσω να το κάνω όσο έχω δυνάμεις και όσο ο προπονητής μου κρίνει ότι αξίζω μια θέση στην ομάδα. Θα συνεχίσω, επίσης, να σέβομαι και να μην ξεχνώ τις ρίζες μου, παρότι αυτό από μερικούς δεν είναι αποδεκτό.

‘Reloaders’ aspire to create and fund innovative ideas that will promote job opportunities in a not-so-promising time for the Greek community, both ex-pats and those in Greece.

They’re bringing hope to young communities and are broadening horizons by linking ex-pats with young people in Greece to build an optimistic outlook for the future.

Στα 26 μου σήμερα, έχω ασχοληθεί με την Κοινωνία των Πολιτών (αγγλιστί Civil Society) ούτε λίγο ούτε πολύ 8 ολόκληρα χρόνια. Και έχω δει, έχω ακούσει και έχω νιώσει πολλά. Από πρόσφυγες πολέμου από το Κόσσοβο να βρίσκονται χωρίς χαρτιά στο Σαράγεβο της Βοσνίας για 15 ολόκληρα χρόνια, μέχρι πληθυσμούς Ρομά έξω από την Θεσσαλονίκη που δίνουν τον καλύτερό τους εαυτό για να μάθουν ηλεκτρονικούς υπολογιστές και να σπουδάσουν - με όλη την υπέροχη τοπική κοινωνία να τους στηρίζει έμπρακτα στην προσπάθεια αυτή.

Ωστόσο, ότι έζησα, ότι είδα και ότι ένιωσα εκείνο το βράδυ της Τετάρτης με τα παιδιά του Emfasis, δυνάμωσε όλα αυτά τα συναισθήματα, κάνοντας με να νιώθω πραγματικά ευλογημένη για αυτήν μου την ενασχόληση.

James Tidwell, beverage manager of the Four Seasons Resort and Club in Dallas, Texas, said most of his customers recognize and confidently state the names Assyrtiko and Santorini on his wine list, and he knows this is true at other Dallas restaurants as well.

Ο Γιάννης Γιανναράκης, ο Maxi Kabutz ο Σήφης Λιονάκης και ο Jacob Gale είναι μία παρέα νέων ανθρώπων που το καλοκαίρι του 2012, στις 29 Ιουνίου, αποφάσισαν να ιδρύσουν τους CORE THE BAND (CTB). Ένα alternative pop punk γρουπ με βάση τα Χανιά που ροκάρει σκληρά και έχει τραβήξει την προσοχή του κοινού στα Χανιά και στην Ελλάδα.

Τα τελευταία 3 χρόνια η εξέλιξη του συγκροτήματος ήταν ραγδαία. Μέσα σε ένα τόσο σύντομο χρονικό διάστημα, έχουν καταφέρει να παίξουν σε πολλά καταξιωμένα φεστιβάλ μεταξύ αυτών και στο Chania Rock Festival 2014 δίπλα στους Destruction και τους Blaze Bailey (πρώην Iron Maiden).

Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center starts to take shape

Dressed in a hard hat, rain boots and a fluorescent yellow vest for a group tour of the under-construction Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC), including the new homes of the National Opera and Library, as well as a 170,000-square meter park on the shore of Faliro Bay in southern Athens, I spotted a small detail that made me smile: In the building site’s staff cloakroom, where SNFCC supervisors and architects have lockers with their names on them, I was standing next to the one belonging to Renzo Piano. The celebrated Italian architect, in charge of designing the buildings, other structures and surrounding green spaces of the new complex, is closely following each stage of the colossal project’s development during his regular visits to Athens.

Culture Ministry to Launch E-ticket System for Greek Museums, Archaeological Sites

In efforts to tap into the benefits of the country’s archaeological offerings, Deputy Culture Minister Nikos Xydakis told a press conference on Thursday, that the ministry had decided to introduce e-tickets for access to archaeological sites and to enrich art and museum items sold in museum shops.

The e-ticket, which is expected to allow access initially to the seven archaeological sites surrounding the Acropolis (Ancient Agora, Roman Agora, Temple of Olympian Zeus, Keramikos, Theater of Dionysus and Hadrian’s Library) is set to launch in mid-June, just ahead of the summer tourist season.
