"Athens City Lovers project" is all about the creation and communication of a website made by genuine Athens City Lovers (your pledge will cover both the creation of the greek-english language website AND some basic internet advertising tools to enhance public awareness about the project).

A City Lover is defined as a local or tourist who despite the recent economic crisis can still see the beauty of this city and now more than ever wants everybody to know all about it and share this feeling.

"Athens City Lovers" is about remembering our "own" favourite places, our beloved spots in town that have become a habit, the afternoon walks and bike rides we treasure, the events we cannot afford to miss and even the little coffee shops and tavernas that make our Athenian days unique.

Your pledge to this project will create an internet platform full of feelings and insight, where all Athens City Lovers will describe and share their experiences into the city's very best.

The best insider tip (divided into special categories, promenade, view, monuments, nightlife to name a few) could come either from a local or a tourist. Just five short but substantial lines, your name signature, a google map address and a photo -if available- will do the job!

The target is not only to bring together all Athens City Lovers but also to communicate all those city insights and shared feelings all over Greece and abroad, in order to boost the Athens's tourism and economy.

At the end of the day, it is all about appreciating the small things in life that make a huge difference and make Athens unique!
