Dimitris Skokos, of Greek descent, is a bio-medical science group
leader at the Immunology Department of Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc.
and adjunct faculty professor at the Rockefeller University in New York.
He has cooperated with great scientists including his professor R.M Steinman, honored with the Nobel Prize for Medicine in October, 2011. Steinman told him: “Do everything to realize your first scientific observation. Never listen to people without imagination, Just do your best.”
Skokos proved that Greeks are able to shine and pioneer in medical science around the world by taking part in many researches and has attained distinction as one of the 40 best scientists under 40 years-old in America.
